The leading proposed history of “¶” is that the symbol evolved from “C”, for capitulum (Latin: “chapter”). (Wikipedia illustrates the evolution.)
Also called the “alinea,” hence the inspiration for Alinea.

in the course of about a week, i found a place to live in pittsburgh this summer, a place to crash in evanston this fall, and someone who will be taking over my current lease so that i don’t have to worry about finding a subletter or paying rent in two places this summer.
awesome. even though i will basically be living out of suitcases until january.

i decided to listen to Feist for the first time in ages while soaking in the tub post-bike-ride.
i couldn’t decide which album to put on - “Anthropologie Soundtrack” or “Apple Commercial” - so i just let iTunes do its thing and shuffle back and forth.
